Moonlight Cinema is a summer tradition that combines the magic of film with the buzz of a festival atmosphere. For our guests, its more than just movies its a chance to relax under the stars with friends and family. We pride ourselves on respectfully activating green spaces and working closely with a variety of stakeholders, including internal suppliers, sponsors, and our valued Botanic Gardens partners.This role is ideal for an experienced team leader with a passion for events and delivering exceptional guest experiences.About the roleManage daily operations, including site set-up and pack-downCoordinate season bump-in and bump-out, including production schedulingLead a team of ~60 onsite crew, working closely with the Assistant Venue Manager and Production ManagerRecruit, train, and develop staffManage food & beverage operations (ordering, invoice processing, and stock control)Oversee sponsorship activations and ensure contractual deliverables are delivered to a high standardPrepare rosters and manage payrollAV operations, including screen and audio set-up and content managementImplement management plans and ensure WHS complianceWork primarily afternoonevening shifts (with the exception of shifts allocated for administration)This role is a Fixed-Term, Full Time Contract which will run from 14 October 2025 - 17 April 2026About YouThe ideal candidate will bring:Minimum of 3 years experience in a management rolePrevious experience in food and beverage and customer serviceCinema management or event management experience (advantageous)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsInitiative, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skillsAbility to quickly learn new systems, processed and operational requirementsExperience leading and motivating a casual workforceStrong stakeholder management skills and time management skillsA collaborative approach with a can-do attitudeProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteRequired: Current RSA and valid driver''s licenseAt EVT, we want our people to experience our brands and become true advocates from day one.
