Provide a high-quality healthcare service to all referrers and consumers. Perform venepuncture and other duties related to specimen collection, data entry, processing, and delivery to sites for pathology investigations. Qualifications and Selection Criteria Certificate III in Pathology Collections and/or experience in venepuncture or willingness to learn all aspects of the clinical environment relevant to the Department. Demonstrated customer service experience and effective communication with patients, carers, and clinical staff. Problem solving and troubleshooting skills to resolve issues in the clinical environment including specimen preparation and transport. Familiarity with pathology terminology and willingness to learn collection, data entry and specimen preparation practices, including paediatric and neonate collections. Unencumbered Class C Driver''s License (NSW) or ability to travel to any site for a shift. Willingness to participate in shift work including weekends and travel within the operational area as required. Ability to manage a demanding professional environment with competing priorities and deadlines. Proficient computer skills with high attention to detail and data accuracy. Need more information?
