OverviewTasmanias Cradle Coast Region is home to iconic species, natural landscapes and Tasmanias Wilderness World Heritage Area. There are 20 diverse river catchments, fertile and productive agricultural land, and rich and extensive Aboriginal cultural landscapes.As one of three natural resource management (NRM) organisations in Tasmania (and 54 in Australia), the role of Cradle Coast NRM is to protect, sustainably manage and improve natural resources by actively working with communities to ensure a healthy future for the region. Our work is guided by our 2030 NRM Strategy for Cradle Coast Tasmania and incorporates Biodiversity-themed action to protect and maintain the regions high-value habitat for threatened species, important biodiversity areas and ecological communities.ResponsibilitiesWe are currently recruiting for a Regional Weeds Coordinator to coordinate and deliver a range of initiatives focused on priority weeds of the Cradle Coast region, as part of the Cradle Coast Priority Weeds Project.
