The Workshop Industrial Painter is responsible for painting various structures and surfaces in the workshop area of John Valves. Your primary role is to apply protective coating or decorative finishes to surfaces such as machinery, equipment, valves, etc. You must be a highly organized and motivated individual. Holding a current drivers license and forklift license is desirable.Key Responsibilities:Cleaning and preparing surfacesAll required preparation for paintingUtilizing the sand and bead blasterMixing and applying paintFinal inspection after completing the coatingCleaning paint equipment and work areaMaintaining equipmentMaintaining a safe and clean workspaceOther duties as required during the operation of the businessCommunicating effectively in verbal and written formsWorking cooperatively and respectfully with others from various backgrounds and culturesBeing flexible and adaptable, with the ability to problem-solve and multi-taskWorking unsupervised and under pressureLeading by example and working as part of a teamStrong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and follow throughFostering a trusting, inclusive, and mutually supportive environment, treating each individual with dignity, integrity, and respectContributing to a culture that promotes safety and wellbeing of all employeesAbout John ValvesWelcome to John Valves, a leader in the valve industry known for precise engineering and unwavering reliability.
