OverviewCasual Plant Operator - Kwinana Terminal, CBH Group, Cooloongup, Western Australia, Australia.To support our harvest season, our Kwinana Grain Terminal is seeking teamoriented and safety-minded Plant Operators on a casual basis. The role involves receiving, storing, loading, and moving grain in a safe, efficient, and effective manner. Our operations run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with opportunities to work on weekdays, nights, or weekends. The Terminal is responsible for exporting WA grain to international destinations.ResponsibilitiesEnsure grain is received, handled and maintained within receival standardsEnsure grain loaded on export vessels is correct, free of contaminants and within specificationsMaintain a high standard of hygiene across the siteReceive instructions for the collection, preparation, testing and storage of grain samplesMaintain a safe working area for all employees and customersQualifications and qualitiesEnthusiastic, reliable, hands-on and enjoys working outdoorsAligned to CBH core values Collaboration, Respect, Reliability and SustainabilityCommitment to working safely and contributing to a safe work environmentAbility to work in a team and have strong communication skillsBasic computer literacyWillingness to undertake and acquire basic machinery skills and experienceAbility to work at heights, in confined spaces, use of compressed air lances and in areas of high grain dust concentrationDesirable tickets: HR licence, front end loader ticket, confined space, working at heightsWorking conditions and benefitsRole is casual with shift options including days, nights, and weekendsEnjoy a range of employee-focused benefits aimed at encouraging a healthy work-life balanceApplication detailsApplications close Friday 26th September.
