OverviewAre you a procurement professional ready to take the lead in a dynamic and community-focused organisation? Were looking for an experienced Procurement Coordinator to drive strategic purchasing and deliver value across Council operations. This is a permanent full-time opportunity based in Moruya, New South Wales.ResponsibilitiesLead Councils procurement function and shape efficient, transparent, and forward-thinking procurement practices.Prepare tender and contract documentation; support related procurement processes.Undertake procedural reviews and deliver outcomes that reinforce probity and compliance.Use data-driven decision making to forecast needs and influence outcomes.Provide strong leadership to guide and support the procurement team.Engage with stakeholders at all levels to communicate and implement procurement strategies.QualificationsFormal qualifications in procurement and/or contract management.Substantial experience in public sector procurement and understanding of probity, compliance, and financial systems.Ability to deliver results in a complex procurement environment.About UsThe beautiful Eurobodalla Shire is located on Yuin Country on the far south coast of NSW and offers an enviable coastal lifestyle with easy access to Canberra and Sydney.
