Overview Working as part of the Parks Services team, you will provide day-to-day direction and support to a team of seven Reticulation Maintainers and relevant contractors. You will ensure irrigation systems are maintained to standard and groundwater resources are used efficiently. The role involves fieldwork alongside the team and administrative tasks supporting the Irrigation Supervisor. You will need to diagnose system faults independently and be self-motivated. Responsibilities Provide day-to-day direction and support to a team of Reticulation Maintainers and contractors. Maintain irrigation systems in accordance with standards and use groundwater resources efficiently. Operate and maintain commercial irrigation systems; diagnose faults and malfunctions; perform controller troubleshooting. Work in the field with the team and perform administrative duties in support of the Irrigation Supervisor. Demonstrate effective communication and safety practices; adhere to WHS policies and practices. Qualifications and Skills Extensive knowledge of the operation and maintenance of commercial irrigation systems. Strong ability to troubleshoot controllers and identify faults. Good written and interpersonal skills, particularly verbal communication. Intermediate level of computer literacy. Knowledge of WHS legislation, policies and practices. Benefits and Remuneration Gross weekly wage of $1,559 (includes all allowances and penalty rates). 12% superannuation with option to co-contribute up to a further 5%.
