Reporting to the Deputy Principal (Academic), this role actively supports the Schools aspirations and strategic goals to contribute to a rich educational environment.About the roleThe Director of Library and Information Services is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the School Library. This includes delivering innovative student and teacher-focused library services, conducting research, curating collections, and maintaining archives and library spaces to enable exceptional learning and teaching within the context of the entire school curriculum. Additionally, this role leads the Library staff, providing vision and purpose that aligns with the Schools culture and ethics.Theesuccessful candidate will demonstrate extensive knowledge of contemporary library services, enabling them to develop and implement strategic plans underpinned by the Schools teaching strategies, to achieve optimal learning outcomes for students. They will also be committed to fostering a learning environment that promotes deep learning and excellence in teaching.About youYou are a knowledgeable leader with extensive experience in delivering library services successfully.
