The individual will build and grow relationships with new and existing advertisers, agencies, and agency trading desks across New South Wales. The right candidate will be comfortable partnering with existing customers to grow opportunities and driving revenue from new prospects.The role requires understanding of direct and programmatic media buying, including trading and targeting tactics, device graphs, inventory sources, 1st and 3rd party data onboarding/matching, and auction mechanics. It is key to understand how the media agency community allocates client spend to digital channels and what solutions they need to do so more seamlessly.Autonomy is provided to develop a strategic understanding of the Samsung Ads platform and capabilities to solve clients business challenges, under the guidance of a manager. This role will carry quarterly revenue goals and requires collaboration across the sales organization in a fast-paced environment. The position is based in Sydney with domestic travel as needed.ResponsibilitiesBuild strong relationships with named advertisers, agencies, and agency trading desksCreate a plan to build and grow Samsung Ads digital business with named agencies and accountsContinuously provide value to customers and serve as a trusted consultant to drive advertising growth with Samsung AdsMonitor daily/weekly run rate across assigned accounts and work with product and support teams to troubleshoot issuesDevelop a strategic understanding of the Samsung Ads platform and capabilities to solve client challengesAct as an internal champion for advertising customers across SamsungBackground & Experience Required5+ years of industry or relatable experience with significant time at an agency, trading desk, or programmatic publisherProven track record of securing and growing spend from advertisers and agenciesSuccessful internal and external relationship managementExperience in entrepreneurial and established corporate culturesExcellent written and verbal communication, strong attention to detail, and good follow-throughAbility to explain complex topics clearly in person or over the phoneBachelors Degree; MBA or other advanced degree a plusPreferred ExperienceExperience selling or using demand-side advertising platforms (e.g., Adobe, Amazon, Google, The Trade Desk, Verizon Media)Agency or agency trading desk experience overseeing and using advertising technology across multiple brand accountsStrong network and existing relationships across buying and trading teams across multiple agenciesThe candidate must thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and have an entrepreneurial mindset with ownership in creating opportunities.We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity.
