Job Description

Development Services - Administration Officer Fixed Term until November 2026 (Maternity Leave Position). Council is looking for an Administration Officer to provide high level administrative support to the Development Services Team, including Building, Planning, Environmental Health and Community Safety. You will be valued for your knowledge and expertise in all things admin. In This Role You Will Deliver high-quality customer service in accordance with Councils Customer Service Charter Undertake a range of administration tasks, including scheduling, preparation of agendas and minutes, correspondence, electronic records management, permit administration, electronic purchasing, receipting and invoicing, statutory reporting, and compliance monitoring Effectively use Microsoft Office software and a range of software applications Proactively monitor administrative requirements, identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes, and service delivery What you will bring Proven experience in a similar administrative or support position Previous experience working in a busy, fast-paced office environment Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Teams The ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes Commitment to delivering high quality customer service What we offer Murrindindi Shire is situated on Melbourne''s peri-urban fringe and encompasses the charming rural townships of Alexandra, Eildon, Kinglake, Marysville and Yea.
