OverviewBusiness Development Manager - Mid-Market AU at CyberCXPosition Summary & Primary Objectives: Reporting to the Sales Manager Phriendly Phishing, the Mid-Market Business Development Manager is responsible for winning new clients directly through prospecting, outbound outreach and your own lead generation activities, internal marketing efforts and in turn identifying growth opportunities and developing and implementing strategies to increase the sales of the Phriendly Phishing product, developing our presence and reputation in the market, and positioning us as Australia and New Zealands premier phishing and awareness tool.ResponsibilitiesFocus on end-to-end net-new mid-market sales across Australia, typically a 2-month sales cycleBuild strong, long-lasting customer relationships and develop a thorough understanding of customer needs and how our solutions meet those needsRespond to customer requirements, including requests for quotes/proposals/tendersIdentify business improvements and strategic new business opportunitiesLeverage company tools to identify potential customers and demonstrate proactive outreachUtilise Salesforce CRM to track and leverage customer information, ensuring standard processes during all sales stages and tailoring sales calls toward customer needsQualifications & Skills2+ years of IT, HR Tech or SaaS sales experienceCandidates from high-volume outbound or call center environments will be consideredRecord of consistently meeting or exceeding targets and developing/executing sales plansDemonstrated success winning new customers and growing accountsSolution-selling and/or Challenger Sales experiencePersonal AttributesProfessional and ethical with integrity and respectCustomer-obsessed, self-starter who delivers exceptional results and experiencesSelf-motivated, data-driven, resilient, eager to learn, with excellent communication skills; thrives in a fast-paced environmentDriven and achievement-oriented; focused on individual and team goals; collaborative with an enterprise mindsetAbout Phriendly PhishingPhriendly Phishing educates organisations on creating long-lasting employee behavioural change around cyber security awareness.
