We are leaders of the general insurance broking and underwriting industry, and we lead from the front.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a comprehensive information security strategy aligned with business goals and regulatory obligations.Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide security architecture and controls.Oversee IT risk management, including threat modelling, vulnerability assessments, and mitigation planning.Manage the internal Cyber Operations Centre and lead incident response efforts.Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, APRA CPS 234, and GDPR.Provide regular reporting to executive leadership and the board on security posture and risk exposure.Skills and QualificationsProven strategic thinking and business acumen.Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Expertise in crisis management and decision-making under pressure.Technical proficiency in security infrastructure and threat intelligence.Commitment to continuous learning and innovation.Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead high-performing teams.Education & Experience10+ years of experience in information security leadership, ideally within financial services or insurance.Deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks including Essential 8 and NIST.Tertiary qualifications in IT, Cybersecurity, or related fields.Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent.Experience influencing executive leadership and leading cross-functional teams.BenefitsHybrid working arrangements to help you balance work and home life.Career advancement opportunities and professional development through training programs, mentorship initiatives, and tuition reimbursement.
