The CEO works closely with the Board of Directors, Aboriginal communities, government agencies, and partner organisations to advance the organisations vision and uphold its values.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide culturally grounded leadership that recognises, respects and upholds the rights of Aboriginal peoples and ensures these values are embedded in all levels of the organisation.Ensure robust governance practices that reflect Aboriginal values and community control, maintaining transparency and accountability to the Board and community.Lead strategic planning, policy development, and implementation of programs and services.Promote Aboriginal self-determination by embedding community-led decision-making across all levels of the organisation.Lead risk management, organisational sustainability, and continuous improvement to ensure long-term viability and responsiveness to community needs.Build and maintain strong relationships with Aboriginal communities, Elders, and stakeholders.
