An Avionics Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), you will be responsible to the Team Leader for carrying out scheduled servicing and unscheduled maintenance activities across various aircraft platforms.These positions are based at RAAF Base Pearce, WA, with relocation support is available for candidates living outside of Perth.Key RESPONSIBILITIESCollaborate with the Shift Team Lead to execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in line with operational demands.Perform inspections, fault diagnosis, and maintenance on avionic systems and components across fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft.Ensure all tasks are carried out using authorised technical data and in compliance with BAE Systems, Defence Aviation Safety Authority (DASA), and regulatory standards.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all maintenance activities, meeting certification and reporting requirements.Identify, report, and escalate defects, maintenance issues, and quality non-conformances as they arise.Action engineering advice, maintenance deficiencies, and publication amendments as directed.Operate workshop equipment and perform maintenance tasks within delegated authority, upholding the highest standards of safety and quality.About YOUHold an Aircraft Maintenance Trade i.e. Cert IV Aeroskills Avionics (Mandatory).Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain a Defence Clearance (Mandatory).Experience or a strong interest in working with Defence Military Aircraft.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to deliver work within a fast-paced team environment.We believe in hiring for potential, we know that some candidates hesitate if they dont tick all the boxes.
