You are strategic in your vision and able to lead a team effectively. You can drive price and costing conversations at a high level and in detail to achieve better commercial outcomes for the business. You can consolidate the factory supply base, ensuring vendors match brand requirements. You are responsible for developing and managing the China team and supply base. This individual manages the costing process with internal teams and factories to service all company departments.ResponsibilitiesLead the Asia teamBuild collaboration between Asia and Melbourne teamsAccuracy and competitive advantage in FOB negotiation & supplier management.New factory viability and initial assessments in conjunction with DW Compliance.Ability to implement improved processes with internal teams as well as suppliersRequirementsCapability across Apparel product development with a focus on manufacturing background.An understanding of footwear is viewed as positiveStrong Cost negotiation and Cost Engineering experience.
