Head of Electronic Trading Technology Recruitment APAC at GQR Global MarketsAn opportunity has arisen for a motivated and technically strong Senior C++ Developer to join a local trading team. The team is responsible for the design and build of the real-time systematic trading application. The team is very collaborative and adopts key Agile practices.Benefits of the role:Opportunity to learn from and collaborate with a team of smart and talented developers while building real time low latency trading softwareA mix of green fields development projects (including the creation of POCs to evaluate solutions) and extensions to existing software infrastructureA hybrid work policy with the flexibility to work from home 2 days per weekKey Responsibilities:The design and build of server-side C++ and C# components. New applications are built with C++ 17/20. The technical skillset and experience to work on multi-threaded lower latency applications as may be required.Collaboration with a Technical Business Analyst and the Development team to design effective and efficient software components that meet business requirements.Unit testing of developed software including the use of automated tests.Maintenance and support of developed software, including phased extensions.Requirements for the role:Strong C++, including C++17.C++20/23MSSQL, not just SELECT queriesMicrosoft Visual StudioUse of Version Control softwareDeveloping applications for Linux and MS WindowsWhile a resume is preferable we also welcome tentative inquiries from well-qualified persons.
