With an enviable reputation for quality healthcare built over 70 years, the hospital honours its legacy while planning an active and prosperous future with advanced facilities for the community''s evolving needs.Executive RoleThe Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key executive leadership role with responsibility for leading the Finance and Corporate Services functions, supporting the Hospital achieve its strategic goals. The CFO will lead the financial management of the Hospital including budgeting, financial forecasting, reporting, regulatory and tax accounting, managing the balance sheet and capital management and importantly, will identify and lead change initiatives the drive improved financial performance. In addition, the CFO will oversee the procurement function, ICT operations and the development of cyber security and technology strategies.Role FocusThis role has recently been restructured to have more impact in supporting the CEO and the Executive Team, providing information and analysis enabling leaders to make sound commercial and strategic financial decisions. We need a contemporary Executive, who can think and act strategically while understanding and delivering sound operational performance. The incumbent will need to be a strong influencer and leader of people and provide direction and guidance to the key leaders.RequirementsA proven track record in senior commercial and financial leadership roles, preferably in Health, Human Services or related sectors.Demonstrated experience working at an executive level in a similar role, providing support to the CEO and Executive Team, and leading innovative financial and commercial practices.An in-depth understanding and experience in business systems, commercial and contractual arrangements, finance and funding, accounting systems, and taxation.Experience in leading an IT team and delivering IT services across multiple sites.Proven success influencing and interfacing appropriately with all relevant internal and external stakeholders.Formal tertiary qualifications in commerce or business, preferably with CPA or CA is required.This is a very hands on role that gives you the opportunity to work as a key member of a small, fast moving Executive Team for a growing and values driven organisation.How to ApplyIf you have a passion for delivering business outcomes, apply online.
