The Griffin Coal Mining Company is seeking experienced Auto-Electrical Tradespersons to join our maintenance team.The RoleReporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out all low voltage preventative and breakdown maintenance on various mobile plant equipment which is required to sustain an efficient and safe mining operation and who works to achieve agreed availability and reliability targets.In this role duties include but are not limited to:Preventative and breakdown repairs to the mobile fleet electrical systems;Interpret equipment downloads and accurately analyses data;Effectively attend to diagnosis and fault finding of mechanical/electrical faults and breakdowns; andUndertake checks to verify equipment is fit for purpose and in suitable and safe working condition.ExperienceThe preferred candidate will have:Minimum 2 years'' experience as a tradesperson in heavy industry, mining or environment;Refrigeration and Air-conditioning license;Excellent communication and organisational skills; andCurrent Dogging, Basic Rigging and Forklift licenses are preferable but not essential.The Location & LifestyleGriffin Coal Mine is located near Collie, a town which is located 45 minutes from the coastal city of Bunbury and 2.5 hours from the capital city of Perth, Western Australia.
