Child Safety Practitioners work with children, young people and families who are vulnerable or in crisis to ensure children are safe and protected from harm.Qualification Requirements Child Safety PractitionerUnder our Child Protection Workforce Model, priority will be given to qualified applicants in the first instance to maintain a qualified workforce. If a qualified applicant cannot be identified, this selection process will be used to fill the vacancy. If you have a Bachelor''s degree in Social Work, Psychology or relevant human services area, please apply for the Child Safety Practitioner position. The Child Safety Officer role is a modified Child Safety Practitioner position for those without relevant qualifications.Case Support Officer (OOU2) $76,912 - $82,464 per annum. Case Support Officers provide direct support to Child Safety Practitioners by collecting, recording and analysing client information, and engaging with children, families, government and non-government support agencies.Family Support Officer (OOU2) - $76,912 - $82,464 per annum. Supervises and supports families, children and young people about accessing Department and community resources.Administrative Assistant (Level 2) - $76,912 - $82,464 per annum. Provides high level customer service and administrative support to District Offices.Customer Liaison Officer (Level 2) - $76,912 - $82,464 per annum. First point of contact for community members accessing the Child Protection and Family Support services.Parent Visitor (OOU2) - $76,912 - $82,464 per annum.
