They will have a passion for education and a thorough understanding of the needs of girls and be dedicated to providing exceptional learning opportunities and supporting every students individual needs.ResponsibilitiesThe purpose of this role is to follow Educators instructions and provide support to students with identified inclusive learning needs, leading to effective engagement in the learning opportunities provided across a wide range of classroom and day to day activities.Skills and AbilitiesAbility to work collaboratively within the Pre-Preparatory community, working alongside classroom teachers to assist in developing resources, deliver programs and provide adjustments for children where requiredAssist children with executive function skills such as organisation, planning, self-regulation, managing transitions, sequencing of tasks and working memoryAssist Educators and children with learning enhancement needs within and outside the classroomDemonstrated ability to work in a team environment, take direction and work autonomously meeting deadlinesStrong communication skills (verbal and written) to enhance connections with children, parents and EducatorsAbility to communicate sensitively and confidentially with stakeholders in a skillful mannerAbility to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment, problem solve and resolve customer concernsProficient in the use of ICT in the classroomAttend staff meetings and be confident to take initiative and put forward ideas and provide input on childrens needsPlayground support and supervision of children.Please note this role works school term weeks only (not during school holidays). This role is dependent on Inclusion Development Funding Subsidy for the duration of this contract.Selection CriteriaThe successful candidate must possess the following requirements:Relevant qualifications such as a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, or Certificate III Early Childhood Education and CareDemonstrated understanding of the educational, social and emotional needs of children, including those with learning needsExperience working with children who possess different abilities, pace of learning and learning stylesExperience working with children individually and in small groups with specific learning needs and support plansAbility to communicate effectively with children, teachers and parentsExperience working in an Early Learning Centre or School environment (Kindy/Preschool/Junior School)Current Paid Blue Card (Working with Children Check)CPR & First Aid Qualifications (or willing to obtain prior to commencement)As a prospective member of the St Hildas Community, you will be willing to support the Code of Conduct and the stated values and Anglican Ethos of the School and have your name submitted to the Anglican Churchs Professional Standards Register.Applications should be submitted by 10.00am Friday 10 October 2025.Please include a cover letter addressed to the Director of Pre-Preparatory and current resume detailing at least two professional referees.
