Support highly motivated Defence members throughout their rehabilitation journey, helping to get their Defence career back on track or transition into civilian life.ResponsibilitiesConducting workplace assessments on tanks, artillery guns and other Army vehiclesExploring field environments to observe Defence personnel training their recruits and practicing for combat situationsBuilding relationships with health centre staff and workplace supervisors at Puckapunyal to be a valued resource and subject matter expert in Occupational Rehabilitation for the ADFTaking a holistic care approach, work within a multidisciplinary team to support the journey from rehab to healingUtilise clinical reasoning skills and expertise to support people suffering from a diverse range of injuries, illnesses or traumaDevelop, implement, and monitor rehabilitation plans whilst having onsite access to medical and treatment providers (Doctors, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, etc.)Location and scheduleLocated at Puckapunyal Army Base, with set working hours 7:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. Puckapunyal Health Centre is 10 minutes from Seymour and straight up the Hume Hwy from Melbourne. Relocation and/or travel assistance may be provided for those not local to the area.QualificationsCurrent unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA as an EP, ASORC, AASW)Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Osteopathy, Social Work or NursingMinimum of one year clinical experience with professional registrationAbility to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goalPassion to help people rehabilitateAustralian CitizenshipAbout Acumen Health and the APm groupThis is a unique opportunity.
