This role will carry out work predominantly on our fleet of 6 Cessna 208 Amphibious Aircrafts as well as our Wipline 8000 and 8750 series floats. This is a full-time permanent position based in Broome, WA.Carrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft to ensure airworthinessIn conjunction with the Chief Engineer, continuously enhance fleet service, maintenance and repair programs to improve the efficiency, reliability and presentation of the fleetTroubleshooting and providing corrective actions to ensure that the aircraft maintain airworthiness, reporting any defects or faults through the appropriate channelEffective management of tasks as delegated by the Chief Engineer, ensuring all tasks are completed within the operational planAccurate compliance record keeping in alignment with CASA requirementsPerforming all duties safely and effectively, adhering to company procedures (SMS and CPPM) and WHS requirementsAbout YouYou will have a proactive and solutions focused approach with a can-do attitude and are someone who thrives in a dynamic, busy working environment. You will be reliable, have a strong work ethic and be a team player.We are looking for someone with previous work experience as an AME, with experience working on C208 aircraft advantageous. Progress toward obtaining a B1 License and/or PT6 series license is highly desirable.
