Every day, youll provide essential care and support, helping clients regain independence and live comfortably in their own homes.Casual Position OverviewHome Support Workers help our clients with:Personal care such as showering, grooming, or assistance with dressing.Social support with companionship or attending to the community for appointments or recreational activities.Capacity-building activities to assist with learning new skills or increasing independence.Domestic assistance such as meal preparation, grocery shopping, or light household cleaning and assistance.Recording attendance through a smartphone application, as well as a summary of tasks completed.RequirementsThe ideal candidate would be someone who can be proactive in supporting an individual with unique needs and preferences with their daily living activities.They would also need to commit to work arrangements required to attend to the physical, psychological, and social support needs of our clients.We offer flexibility for work within school hours with the casual position.Our aim is to roster with permanent shifts, so being reliable and great with communication is integral to thrive in this role.Home Support Workers Are Required To HaveNational Police Check (Less than a year old if not NDIS Worker Screening CheckNSW Drivers License.Comprehensively insured, registered, and well-maintained car.Certificate III in Individual Support or a similar discipline.Current First Aid and CPR qualifications.NDIS Worker Screening Check or Working with Children Check is advantageous.RemunerationGood Works for Australia pays SCHADS award wages with the addition of generous allowances pro rata to the jobs attended for the casual rates of a home support worker.Selection CriteriaAvailable Thursdays from 12:30pmRegistered, road-worthy and insured vehicle.Available during at least 3 days of the week from the morning on wards (flexible on days)Demonstrated ability to perform tasks referred to in the position overview.Alignment with company values.Ability to meet compliance and qualification criteria referred to in requirements.Previous experience in a similar role.Selection ProcessApply with a CV.Telephone shortlisting and interview.Request for evidence of alignment to the position requirements.About Good Works For AustraliaRegal Care is a purpose-driven business offering home care services in Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Geelong. #J-18808-Ljbffr
