Our structured training programs, hands-on experience, and access to industry experts ensure that you are building a long-term career in aviation.Position ResponsibilitiesCarrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on aircraft and aircraft components under the direction of a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.Participate in aircraft recovery when necessary.Service and clean hangar, tools and ground equipment as directed by the engineering supervisors.Essential Selection CriteriaMinimum Education to Year 11Well-developed verbal and written communication skillsAbility to follow instructionsWillingness to accept the work environment of aircraft line maintenance and heavy maintenance, including component repair and refurbishment maintenanceA high level of motivation with a team-focused work ethicFlexibility with working hoursWorking knowledge of WH&S proceduresA valid drivers licenceMeet the necessary requirements to hold an Aviation Security Identity CardDemonstrated interest in Aviation and AircraftWillingness to relocate to pursue an Aviation ApprenticeshipDemonstrated mechanical aptitude (exhibit/display a recent project or assignment that will support your mechanical aptitude at interview)Preferred Selection Criteria:Cert II in AeroskillsCert IV theory credits in AeroskillsPasses in Mathematics, English and Physics is desirableConditions: Wage rates and conditions apply as per the Regional Express Aircraft Engineers Agreement 2021 2025.To apply: To register your interest, please submit your resume and cover letter addressing the above criteria and preference of employment location by 17 October 2025.REX is an equal opportunity employer #J-18808-Ljbffr
