From disability and aged care support to community-focused initiatives, were here to help people live their best lives.What youll doAs a Chef in our Food Services team, youll:Empower & Guide - Support employees with training to help them thrive as valued team members.Menu Creativity - Design seasonal, local menus and recipes tailored to customer tastes.Smart Stocking - Manage ordering and stock levels to keep the kitchen running smoothly.Customer Ready - Ensure meals and services are prepared on time to meet customer needs.Always Improving - Put continuous improvement ideas into action for better outcomes.What youll bringCertificate III Commercial Cookery.High level communication and interpersonal skills in order to communicate effectively within a fast-paced environment.Ability to cost recipes and work within the budget and cost of goods percentages.Previous experience in high volume cooking environment.(Youll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate but dont worry, well help guide you through this.)Bonus Points forExperience in large scale food delivery and catering environment.Experience in food ordering, stock or inventory management.Why youll love working at genUAt genU, our differences make us stronger.
