Job DescriptionThis is an exciting opportunity for an individual with proven warehousing and customer service experience to join AGnVET as a Storeperson in Jerilderie.The role will include making up orders and delivering products on farm, ensuring warehouse quality control, and storing incoming goods appropriately. The successful candidate will also assist in serving customers, answering the phone, and receiving goods.ResponsibilitiesPicking and packing of outgoing goods to customers and store transfers.Truck driving and delivering orders to customers.Assisting in receiving and storing of incoming goods including agricultural chemicals, animal health products, general merchandise, and fertilisers.Order processing including point of sale and invoicing.In store point of contact for retail sales and enquiries.Assisting with stock control including inventory monitoring and stocktakes.Building excellent customer relationships.Championing safety and compliance requirements.General duties supporting the branch in the day-to-day operations.Maintaining the presentation of the yard and warehouse.Ensuring regular servicing and maintenance of company vehicles and plant and equipment.About YouIt is desirable that you have experience in warehousing including receipt and dispatch of products, providing customer service, and understanding the importance of safety in the workplace. Ideally, you will have basic IT and good communication skills (written and spoken), a forklift license, driver licence, and HR truck license (preferred or ability to obtain).Other skills and experiences will include developing and maintaining excellent relationships with customers as well as proven interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
