Your job, as Electrician Industrial Maintenance within the Mechanical Team in our Consumer Healthcare Business, will be to set up and maintain utilities production and supply- facilities, production equipment and components, including control, automation and internal IT devices.Main ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance on services throughout the Virginia plantContribute to team effectiveness through participation and cooperationRespond to site maintenance requests and equipment failure according to priority set by urgency and importanceAction requests for unplanned improvement work completed in accordance with agreed plans and timeframesSupport line operators with machine set up, running adjustments, advice and guidanceInvolvement in introduction, commissioning and validation of equipment is conducted as requiredAssist with design and manufacture of any new process improvementsInvolvement in site lean initiativesQualificationsAbout youHigh school diploma or equivalentMust hold a current Queensland electrical fitter/ mechanic licenseExperienceIdeally 2+ years experience in electrical industrial automation maintenance or associated work in FMCG environment preferredFamiliar with the AS/NZS Wiring StandardsBasic understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and general maintenance process methodsMust have some exposure to PLC''s, ideally with Siemens TIA experienceDual trade with instrumentation highly desirableHazardous areas qualification and experience desirableSoft And Technical SkillsStrong process and technical problem-solving competenciesAbility to work autonomously and part of the teamGood presentation, personal organisation and motivation skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to prioritise and adapt to a changing environmentWhy us? #J-18808-Ljbffr
