Aboriginal Health Research Lead - PPT - Malabar Employment Type: Permanent Part Time Position Classification: Aboriginal Health Workers, Health Mgr Lvl 4 & Staff Specialist Remuneration: dependent on appointment classification Hours Per Week: 8 Location: Malabar Requisition ID: REQ603330 Overview This is a dedicated Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander position. Applicants must be able to prove Aboriginal descent through parentage, identification as being an Aboriginal person and being accepted in the community as such. Exemption is claimed under Section 14 of the Anti-Discrimination Act. JH&FMHN deems it appropriate to seek confirmation of Aboriginal status from applicants applying for Aboriginal identified positions or targeted positions either during the interview process or prior to commencement of the position. Responsibilities Champion Indigenous research methods and ethical, community-driven projects Build and mentor the Aboriginal research workforce Partner with communities, ACCHOs, and universities to deliver research with real impact Ensure research outcomes are shared in meaningful and culturally appropriate ways Qualifications / Requirements If youre an experienced Aboriginal researcher or health professional with strong leadership and a passion for change, we want to hear from you.
