This includes the provision of Support at Home, Commonwealth Home Support Programs, and other in-home services tailored to individual needs.Our integrated model of care is supported by a multidisciplinary allied health team offering physiotherapy, dietetics, occupational therapy, speech pathology, and social work. We also provide accessible public dental services to enhance community wellbeing.CGH is also a leading teaching hospital, affiliated with Monash University''s School of Rural Health and provides placements and clinical experience for students.CGH encourages Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to consider application to this positionAbout DepartmentThe Environmental Services Department is responsible for providing many and varied services to all areas of Central Gippsland Health Service.Services include:Portering services, linen collection and delivery, patient/specimen/histories transfersAll aspects of housekeeping /cleaningEnsuring that the CGHS campuses meet the Victorian Government''s hospital cleaning standardsEffective waste management of both clinical and general waste and carrying out waste auditsSupporting a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors and staffAbout the RoleYou will:Undertake the provision of a clean and safe environment for patients, staff and visitors to CGHUndertake task to reliably and safely maintain high standards in quality of care and service throughout CGH facilitiesPractice, observe, and comply with all applicable standards, regulations and organisation policiesDutiesUndertake cleaning of various areas in CGH facilities and equipment & instruments in the health service as nominated by the Environmental Services Team Leader.Ensure all chemicals utilised when providing environmental services is in appropriate dilution rates and its intended use.Undertake all task in accordance with the infection control standards, cleaning standards and schedules, and organisational regulations, policies and procedures.Qualifications, Skills and ExperienceMinimum Certificate III in Cleaning Operations or other relevant qualification and/or preparedness to undertake appropriate trainingPrevious work in a similar job roleSalary packagingEmployee Assistance ProgramSocial ClubApplicationPlease attach your resume and cover letter to your applicationAll appointments are made subject to the candidate providing a current satisfactory National Police Certificate and obtaining a Working with Children Check.At CGH we acknowledge the importance of creating a work environment that is welcoming, safe, equitable and inclusive.
