ICT Support Officer - Nowra and ShellharbourAn education organisation with multiple school sites across NSW is looking for an ICT Support Officer to support the technology of two schools in a dual-site onsite role.What Youll DoAs an ICT Support Officer, youll help staff and students get the most out of the schools technology. Youll be part of a team that keeps day-to-day IT running smoothly while supporting longer-term projects.Your Role Will IncludeProviding first and second-level onsite IT support to staff and students at two campuses.Monitoring the helpdesk and making sure support requests are handled quickly.Responding to hardware and software issues in line with service standards.Assisting with the rollout of the schools ICT projects and strategy.Keeping users updated while working on their requests.Building good relationships with staff and students by being approachable, professional, and responsive.Managing your workload so requests are resolved on time.Supporting audio-visual systems, phones, bells, and sound equipment across the campuses.Following policies on information security, data retention, WHS, and IT asset management.Working closely with other ICT team members, school leaders, and external contractors.What You BringWere looking for someone who enjoys helping people and has a solid background in IT support. Ideally, you will have:Previous experience in a similar ICT support role, preferably in education or a related environment.The ability to juggle competing priorities while delivering great service.Experience supporting audio-visual systems and troubleshooting phones, bells, or sound equipment.Strong skills with end-user hardware (desktops, laptops, printers) and software (operating systems and applications).The ability to guide and train staff and students in a patient, clear way.Experience working to service level agreements (SLAs).Good written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and approachable style.Initiative to improve IT processes while meeting the schools needs.A commitment to following organisational policies and procedures.(Desirable) Previous experience in a school setting and an understanding of Christian values, though this is not essential.Why youll want to work hereThis is a caring and supportive organisation that places people at the centre of what they do.Youll be joining a team that values collaboration, growth, accountability, and integrity.
