About the roleMoe Hotel is seeking an experienced and dynamic Venue Manager to lead the operations of a well-established, multi-faceted pub that''s more than just a local - it''s a destination. With a fully stocked drive thru bottle shop, sports bar, welcoming bistro and kitchen, versatile function room, and a 22 machine gaming area, this venue offers something for everyone - and we''re looking for a leader who can bring it all together.This is a hands-on, full-spectrum management role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at team leadership and understands the balance between service, compliance, profitability and community.ResponsibilitiesEnsure smooth daily operations across all departmentsLead, mentor and develop a diverse team of hospitality professionalsMaintain relationships with our loyal regulars while welcoming new guestsManage rosters, inventory, venue and gaming compliance requirementsDevelop and execute marketing and promotional activities to increase patronageHandle customer feedback and resolve issues with professionalismCollaborate with kitchen team to ensure smooth food and beverage serviceRequirementsSignificant experience (5+ years) in a senior hospitality management role, preferably within a hotel or restaurant settingDemonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teamsHaving a current RSA and RSG & Gaming Licence are essential for this roleExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused approachStrong financial acumen and experience in budget management and cost controlFamiliarity with hospitality industry regulations and best practicesAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays, as requiredWhat we offerAt Moe Hotel, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
