You will chair independent annual and ad hoc fostering review meetings to ensure compliance with legislation and standards. Furthermore, you will work with the fostering team to identify strengths and gaps in the social work foster care assessment process, and the support offered to carers. This position is crucial in offering an independent perspective on the strengths and areas for improvement among foster carers, aiding in the enhancement of support provided.Responsibilities: Chair independent fostering review meetings annually and as necessary Evaluate the quality and adherence to the standards of care provided by foster carers Identify and address gaps in assessment processes and provision of support Offer constructive feedback to improve outcomes and practices Foster a collaborative environment by working closely with the fostering team Present both challenges and successes to enhance foster care servicesWe are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons.
