What You''ll Be Doing The primary purpose of the Senior Resident Medical Officer (SRMO) in the Emergency Department is to provide clinical care, under appropriate supervision, to patients requiring emergency medical services in a complex clinical environment. This position will provide experience in a critical care environment and have responsibilities and opportunities for autonomous practice commensurate with the level of experience of the incumbent. It will be of interest for trainees seeking to gain the prerequisite experience to apply for Emergency Medicine training with ACEM, as well as those seeking to enhance their critical care skills.
