Store Manager - Liquor (Mandarin Speaking) $65,000 $85,000 per year + employee benefits Our client is a well-established supermarket grocery in the retail liquor industry, known for providing a wide range of premium liquor products and exceptional customer service in the Burwood area. They are committed to promoting in-trend alcohol products from various suppliers - overseas/Asian and local. As part of the store''s expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Store Manager to join their team and take the lead in the liquor department. Your Role Assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the liquor store, ensuring high standards of customer service and store presentation. Support the Store Manager in managing stock levels, ordering, and inventory control. Drive sales initiatives to achieve revenue goals and ensure store profitability. Conduct staff training and development to improve product knowledge and customer service skills. Maintain compliance with liquor licensing laws and company policies. Implement visual merchandising strategies to enhance product displays and increase sales. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns with professionalism and efficiency. Assist in managing budgets, expenses, and reporting on store performance. Support in overseeing health and safety standards in the store. You will have... Proven experience in retail management, logistics, POS, or operations roles, preferably within the liquor industry. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage customers and staff alike. A strong understanding of sales and merchandising techniques. Knowledge of liquor licensing laws and operational procedures. A current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification. Availability to work weekends and flexible hours. Chinese speaking - Mandarin or Cantonese is highly preferred.
