Overview Vice President, Financial Markets Risk & Surveillance join a global 1st Line Non-Financial Risk team to shape market conduct surveillance across trading and lending. This role supports enhancement of surveillance frameworks across Trade, E-communications, and Voice, ensuring 1st and 2nd line capabilities are effective and proportionate to managing market conduct risk. Responsibilities Monitor surveillance coverage across global trading and lending activity. Identify gaps and contribute to the design and implementation of effective, scalable surveillance solutions. Collaborate with key stakeholders, including senior traders, desk heads, compliance, and technology teams. Drive a proactive and proportionate approach to non-financial risk management. Ideal Experience / Qualifications Prior experience in a market trading environment, with knowledge of FICC, Futures, Equities, and Commodities. Solid understanding of trading systems, market structures, and client engagement models. Familiarity with surveillance platforms such as SMARTS, Actimize, Scila, KX, or TradingHub is highly desirable. High proficiency in data analysis and manipulation. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for a range of audiences. Confidence to challenge existing practices and contribute to continuous improvement. Previous experience in a surveillance function, ideally focused on trade surveillance. Experience with remediation or transformation projects in the surveillance space is advantageous. Why Apply?
