Raging Water Sydney - Water Quality Team MemberRaging Waters Sydney is the biggest and wildest waterpark in Sydney home to over 40 slides and attractions. The Water Quality Team Member supports the maintenance and safe operation of pools and water attractions by conducting routine testing, cleaning, and maintenance duties. This is an entry level position suitable for individuals aged 18 and above. Full training is provided. Water Quality Inspectors play a vital role in ensuring clean, safe, and operational aquatic environments for all guests. Responsibilities Perform hourly water testing and chemical balancing as per set procedures. Record all water chemistry results accurately in logbooks or digital systems. Monitor and maintain pool water levels. Clean and maintain filters, chlorinators, skimmers, and pool vacuum systems. Inspect and maintain dosing and metering equipment (training provided). Assist with scooping, vacuuming, and surface cleaning of pools. Conduct plant room checks and ensure spaces are clean and hazard-free. Support minor repairs and report any faults or safety concerns to supervisors. Participate in scheduled maintenance procedures for pool equipment. Follow instructions and complete daily task checklists. Attend team meetings and safety briefings. Cooperate with other Facilities team members and park departments as needed. Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Follow and comply with Work Health Safety policies, procedures, and guidelines. Use all safety and personal protective equipment correctly. Demonstrate safe work behaviours and lead by example. Report any WHS incidents, injuries, or near misses to your Manager and First Aid immediately. Actively promote hazard and near-miss reporting. Attend Work Group Meetings to discuss safety topics and contribute to improvements. RequirementsEducation: Water Quality Essentials Training (provided by Raging Waters Sydney) Desirable: Manual Handling Training, Confined space training, Working at Heights training, Manual Drivers Licence, Forklift licence Languages: Fluent English Skills Basic communication and teamwork skills. Ability to follow instructions and procedures. Physically fit and capable of climbing towers and working outdoors. Attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to remain calm and professional in varied weather and guest conditions. ExperienceNo prior experience necessary; training provided. Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, early mornings (from 5am) to 9pm, evenings and public holidays. Adhere to the Company Code of Conduct policy and Employee Handbook. Represent the Company professionally; work in all weather conditions. Carry out duties as assigned by the Direct Manager, General Manager, or management team. Smoking in the workplace is allowed in designated areas only where permitted by law. Physical requirements may include walking, carrying, lifting, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, squatting, sitting, standing, twisting, and repetitive motion. Team Member BenefitsPay Conditions: This is a casual position from October to April, with flexible hours during the season. Availability to work at least twice per week during peak season (15 December 2025 to 1 February 2026) is required. Hourly rates follow the Amusement, Events and Recreation Award. Water Quality Team Members aged 20+ are paid at Grade 3 ($26.70/hour) plus 25% casual loading ($33.38/hour with loading). Different rates apply for applicants 19 and under.
