Overview You are at the heart of the hotel! As a Porter, you will take responsibility for ensuring exceptional service is provided to guests at all times, and that the front office premises are safe, clean and comfortable for guests. What You Will Be Doing Greet all guests as they arrive and depart the hotel. Use the guests names once known. Check the daily arrival list for VIPs or guests with special needs. Ensure collection and delivery of guest luggage, mail, messages and equipment in a timely manner. Escort guests to their room and place luggage in the room. Ensure efficient delivery and collection of group luggage. Park and retrieve guests'' cars where applicable. Explain room and hotel facilities to guests and answer questions. Qualifications Previous experience working in a hotel or serviced apartments environment preferred. Good levels of written and spoken English. Sound knowledge of the local area.
