Were seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to lead our Mining Equipment Division in Unanderra. This is an opportunity for a hands-on leader with strong trade experience and proven supervisory skills to step into a key role overseeing people, safety, and performance in a dynamic workshop environment. Our Mining Equipment Division specialises in the repair, overhaul, and manufacture of purpose-built machinery for underground mining, including QDS, Secondary Support, Longwall Move, and Material Handling Equipment. Working with both internal and external clients, we''re proud to deliver solutions that keep the industry moving. Responsibilities Leading and motivating a team of skilled tradespeople Reporting to the Branch Manager on workshop performance, budgets, and cost control Driving a strong safety culture by overseeing SWMS, pre-starts, and toolbox talks Overseeing fault diagnosis, repairs, and maintenance across a range of diesel-powered mining equipment (LHDs, Drift Runners, RTV fleet, etc.) Managing planned maintenance programs, refurbishments, and component replacement Ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality expectations Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in workshop operations What You Bring (Qualifications) Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic, Mechanical, or Fabrication trade Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a workshop environment Strong knowledge of underground or surface mining equipment (highly regarded) Solid budgeting and cost management experience Experience with Microsoft suite (highly regarded) A proactive, accountable, and safety-first mindset Strong communication skills with a collaborative, team-focused approach Valid driver''s licence (essential), with forklift licence and other tickets advantageous Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug screening Benefits Competitive pay with long-term, secure full-time employment A leadership role within a respected and growing ASX-listed company A supportive, close-knit team environment where your contribution is valued Opportunities for career development and advancement in the mining services sector If you''re ready to step up and lead a high-performing workshop team, apply today and join a company committed to safety, quality, and supporting its people.
