If you are passionate about delivering quality clinical care as well as helping to innovate healthcare in a dynamic and empowered working environment we would love to hear from you.About the roleOur Home Health Registered Nurses are key members of an integrated, multi-disciplinary team, responsible for delivering evidence-based, person-centred nursing care to support customers in their own homes. This hybrid role will support you to work at your full scope of practice, providing quality care across a variety of work settings and caseloads.To provide flexibility to suit your lifestyle and career goals, we are currently offering both full-time and part-time positions across 7 Days, within our Wollongong team who support the Hospital In The Home program.The role will encompass completing in-home clinical assessments and provision of treatment in the management of acute and chronic conditions, such as:Managing medication including IV antibiotics via PICCsComplex wound care, including NPWTSurgical drain tube managementUrinary catheter insertion and managementIntegrate flexibility into your work-life balance with our rotating shiftsEnjoy extra Well-Being, Community and Deep Listening leave daysGain access to our gym membership Fitness Passport DiscountsTap into 2 Extra Weeks Annual LeaveAccess Employee Discounts across Health, Insurances, Travel & AccommodationNovated Leasing through Maxxia or Flare CarsAbout YouExcellent communication and time management skills with proven ability to multi-taskDemonstrated experience working in an acute, sub-acute and/or community-based environment working with a diverse customer group.Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and in collaboration with others to coordinate the delivery of care to customersDemonstrated current practice knowledge and minimum 12 months experience in delivering care to customers receiving IVAB via PICC lines, complex wound care including NPWT, and surgical drain tube managementWorking knowledge of various funding streamsCurrent drivers license and registered, insured roadworthy vehicleUnrestricted registration as a Registered nurse with AHPRAAustralian Unity is an Equal Opportunity employer.
