Warehouse Manager Weir Minerals Perth Airport Onsite We are looking for a Warehouse Manager to oversee operations at our Perth Distribution Centre, located near Perth Airport. This role covers all aspects of warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound logistics, supply to Service Centres, and distribution to domestic and international customers. Success in this position requires authentic leadership, lateral thinking, and the ability to anticipate and address operational challenges before they arise. Youll lead a diverse team while ensuring safe, efficient, and timely service delivery across the logistics network. Key Responsibilities: Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture. Drive Continuous Improvement : Identify and implement process enhancements across warehouse and distribution functions, with a focus on automation, waste reduction, and operational efficiency. Ensure Regulatory Compliance : Maintain adherence to internal standards and external regulations, including ISO 9000 and federal warehousing requirements, while managing audits and SOP updates. Foster Positive Culture & Leadership : Promote a constructive team environment aligned with company values, support leadership development, and contribute to succession planning. Optimise Operational Performance : Strategically manage warehouse planning, resource allocation, and logistics performance to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets, including reporting and KPIs. Strengthen Stakeholder Relationships : Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to refine warehousing processes and ensure seamless service delivery across the supply chain. Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications: Proven experience leading warehouse, logistics, and distribution operations across domestic and international markets. Tertiary qualifications in warehousing Demonstrated ability to drive process efficiency, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to lead teams and influence cross-functional outcomes. Proficient in SAP with EWM module within SAP and the capability to train others and perform business analytics. Strong understanding of SHE policies, ISO standards, and regulatory compliance, with a commitment to safety leadership. Weir is committed to an inclusive and diverse workplace.
