At Medirest, we provide the non-medical services that keep Australias healthcare facilities in top shape. We are currently seeking an experienced Cleaner to work at the Newcastle Mater Hospital. Youll work as part of our supportive cleaning team to ensure the cleanliness of the hospital whilst providing genuine service and care to the patients and visitors within the hospital. Position Cleaner, casual, Newcastle Mater Hospital, local ongoing role (i.e.. drive-in / drive-out) This opportunity has shift times of 6am-2pm or 3pm-8:30pm across seven days. General hospital cleaning duties as required such as discharge cleaning, ward cleaning, collection of waste Receiving requests to assist with urgent cleans or additional tasks around the hospital Use of carpet extractor and steam cleaning machines Qualifications An excellent eye for detail and well presented Youre able to work on your own but also within a team environment Experience within a hospital or aged care environment is highly regarded NPC + VPD: Willingness to obtain a National Police Check Clearance and provide proof of immunity for Vaccine Preventable Diseases Benefits Looking to grow and develop in your role?
