Our mission is to enrich lives through education and career opportunities, helping people make a lasting impact in their communities.What is the role?The Administration Officer for the Northern Rivers GTO team provides vital support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of daily activities. This role is responsible for managing a range of administrative tasks including data entry, document preparation, scheduling, and responding to enquiries from apprentices, trainees, and host employers. Working closely with the field officers and management team, the Administration Officer helps maintain accurate records, coordinates communication, and supports the delivery of quality training and employment services across the Northern Rivers region.ResponsibilitiesProvide administrative support to the GTO team and managementMaintain accurate apprentice, trainee, and host employer records in relevant systemsAssist with scheduling meetings, site visits, and appointmentsRespond to phone and email enquiries promptly and professionallySupport onboarding, compliance, and reporting processesSupport with recruitmentCompletion of data entry, and record-keeping to ensure accuracy and confidentialityAssist with internal communications and team coordinationContribute to a positive and efficient team environmentAbout YouYou are a positive, friendly and approachable individual with a strong sense of professionalism and a genuine interest in helping others.The successful applicant will:Be well organised and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with a busy teamBe able to manage and prioritise contending tasks and be able to work independently or as part of a teamPossess high attention to detailWillingness to learn and grow with the businessExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong computer skillsA current drivers license and own vehicleWhat we offerAt Novaskill we are dedicated to supporting our employees and creating a positive, collaborative work environment.
