Senior Treasury & Securitisation AnalystWe are looking for a Senior Treasury & Securitisation Analyst to oversee daily cash flow planning, optimise liquidity and support key funding strategies.OverviewThe Senior Treasury and Securitisation Analyst is responsible for daily cash forecasting, liquidity management, and funding decisions of the business. They will have prime responsibility for at least one Securitisation transaction (Term or Warehouse) under the Driver Australia Asset Backed Securitisation Programme. The role supports the financing of VWFS Australia through engagement with external stakeholders (banks, investors, lawyers, trust managers, auditors) and maintains close working relationships with the APAC Treasury Hub (Japan) and the HQ Treasury team (Germany), including DCM and ABS.The Senior Treasury & Securitisation Analyst leads the local Treasury and Securitisation functions in the absence of the Treasury & Securitisation Manager and supports key projects and strategic deliverables.Key Responsibilities Governance and supervision: Supervise and review processes to four-eye principles; ensure tasks are completed timely and accurately; document and cross-train existing processes, policies and procedures. Process improvement and controls: Research, propose and develop improvements to systems and processes; contribute to automation and control enhancements; support ongoing professional development. Cash forecasting & liquidity management: Model, analyse, prepare and communicate daily cash forecasts; determine funding requirements; minimise interest expense; oversee deal-related information in treasury systems; understand facilities including Bank Loans, CP, MTN, ABS, and Intercompany Loans; develop improvements to forecasting inputs; liaise with cross-functional teams; select funding plans and present them to management and HQ/APAC Treasury. Asset & Liability Management (ALM): Model and report monthly Interest Rate and Liquidity Risk; explain risk profiles to management; apply ALM requirements to funding plans; coordinate with APAC/HQ to set limits and funding/hedging strategies; engage APAC Treasury for derivative transactions; prepare Liquidity Risk Reports. Securitisation: Manage processes for at least one securitisation deal; ensure model/data accuracy; prepare investor reports; calculate waterfalls/run-out schedules/amortisation; respond to investor and other queries; maintain documentation and coordinate with HQ ABS Structuring/IT; oversee full transaction lifecycle and participate in investor roadshows and due diligence. Bank & Investor Relations: Maintain relationships with banks and investors; represent VWFS Australia in meetings; prepare investor presentations; respond to queries from banks/investors/ratings agencies/trustees. Ad-hoc Tasks: Train and support junior team members; assist accounting and other finance areas; review systems/processes and implement improvements; lead ad-hoc projects and supervise others as needed. Qualifications & Experience Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Science or related discipline. Minimum 5 years experience in a Treasury or Securitisation related role in a commercial business. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to work independently and in a team; good initiative and accountability; leadership potential. Advanced Excel skills including VBA/Macros; AFMA qualifications or willingness to complete; prior Treasury or banking experience in related role or Securitisation experience; CFA, CFTP, CA/CPA qualifications or accounting experience (or willingness to pursue).
