The Finance Management at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for an Asset Accounting Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.For information on how to apply and the mandatory requirements for this role, please refer to the attached Role Description.Your opportunityReporting to the Director, Financial Accounting, the Asset Accounting Manager is responsible for coordinating the asset and general ledger accounting processes for Mackay Hospital and Health Service (MHHS). This is a highly visible role within the organisation providing exposure to senior management and a range of internal and external stakeholders.About the TeamFinance Management consists of Financial Accounting, including Revenue, Assets and Management Accounting. The team provides routine and ad-hoc information, analysis and advice for various stakeholders such as the Executive, service directors, business managers and clinicians.About our Hospital and Health ServiceMackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff.
