Work an attractive fly-in/fly-out (FIFO) roster or live local and enjoy our close-knit communities and local lifestyles.At Evolution we offer a range of employee benefits;Attractive salary package (QB) + local living benefits.Salary packaging options including novated car leasing, remote living costs etc.Complementary life insurance and income protection.Future opportunities to work interstate and overseas.About the roleAs Senior Mine Geologist at our East Kundana mine site, reporting to the Superintendent Mine Geology, you will provide leadership to a team of underground mine and project geologists.ResponsibilitiesDeveloping and implementing of in-mine exploration strategies.Overseeing the underground Mine Geology function by planning and scheduling in-mine geological activities to ensure business plans are achieved safely.Mentoring and supporting the professional development of the team.Contributing to the EOM, quarterly and annual reporting cycles.Assisting with forecast and budget cycles by tracking expenditure and managing geological drilling contractors.Overseeing geological grade control processes to ensure a high standard of QAQC is maintained.Prepare and maintain grade control and geological models (wireframing and estimation) in conjunction with the Senior Resource Geologist.The position will be on an 8:6 (12-hour day) roster, FIFO from Perth or based residentially.About youTo be considered for this role you must possess and be able to demonstrate the following;Bachelor''s degree or higher in GeologyMinimum 6+ years experience across exploration and underground productionExperience with project management with an emphasis on managing diamond drilling contractors.Understanding of mining geology, including gold sampling, ore deposits geochemistry, structural geology and grade modellingKnowledge of statutory acts and regulations, and legal requirementsDemonstrate behaviours aligned with the Evolution Mining valuesCurrent "C" Class Western Australian Drivers LicenceAt Evolution, as our name suggests, change and transformation is in our DNA.
