The role involves acting as a subject matter expert on Everfoxs security solutions, delivering pre-sales support for the federal government and defense sector in Australia, based in Canberra. You will collaborate with Account Executives to bring innovative security and analytics solutions to the federal government and defense market, implementing large-scale cyber security solutions. You will work with customers to solve difficult problems and contribute to the sales of insider threat, data protection, cloud security, and cross-domain solutions. The role is primarily customer-facing, responsible for the success of customer pilots and technical evaluations to demonstrate the business value of Everfox on-prem and cloud security products. You will consult with business leaders to understand challenges and articulate technically achievable, proportionate solutions, while communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, mostly in a remote environment. A broad and deep knowledge of various technologies and concepts is essential, and you should be personable and capable of presenting to diverse audiences.Due to sensitive customer requirements, applicants should be eligible for security clearance, or ideally already possessing a level of clearance (ideally at least NV1). International travel is expected occasionally, typically once a quarter.Key ResponsibilitiesWork directly with prospective customers to position Everfox security solutions for success and to shape project requirements.Manage a complex technical sales process, from initial solution discovery, through proof-of-concept delivery, to proposal development.Present the technical merits of Everfox security offerings, deliver compelling product demos and pilots, and handle technical objections.Configure Everfox security solutions to deliver actionable analytic results, and collaborate with the client and Everfox engineers to ensure successful pilot efforts.Provide technical support to the sales teams by creating high-quality presentations and rapidly responding to information requests, helping to craft sales strategies and tactics as appropriate.Attend events and conferences as required to support GTM activities.Technical KnowledgeExcellent knowledge of security solutions and technologies, including internet security, anti-malware, proxy technologies.Experience with Windows, Linux, SIEM, information security, networking, scripting.Experience in virtualized, networked environments, specifically VMware and Hyper-V based systems.Practical information security experience applied to technical sales; knowledge of Web Security, Email Security and Secure Data Transfer solutions.Advanced understanding of enterprise networking, including SaaS and Cloud solutions (AWS and Microsoft Azure).Key Experience And SkillsStrong experience in a sales engineering/pre-sales role supporting critical security solutions in the federal government and defense space.Eligible for security clearance, ideally NV1 or higher.Ability to work as part of a small sales team to formulate account strategies.Experience building strong relationships throughout the sales cycle with customer technical staff.Ability to articulate product positioning and competitive differentiation to business and technical users.Experience responding to RFIs/RFPs with functional and technical elements.Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills; deep knowledge of sales cycle and pre-sales activities.Experience working with both technical teams and end users; resilient and able to handle multiple tasks under pressure.Self-starter, proactive leader, with initiative and common sense; results-driven and focused on outcomes.Empathy and rapport with staff, customers, and partners; strong work ethic and disciplined, organized approach.The on-target earnings (OTE) for this role are estimated within a range.
