Position: Apprentice/Technician specializing in tuning and testing filters and electronic components. The role uses specification sheets, drawings, blueprints, network analyzers, and computer programs to outline filter capacity and function. Adheres to Manufacturing Operating Procedures (MOP) and Automated Testing Procedures (ATP). Conducts quality assurance spot checks and tests for product accuracy. Equipment used includes network analyzers, calipers, computers, continuity testers/multimeters, microscopes, soldering irons, plotters, calculators, wrenches, and tuning instruments. Responsible for cleaning finished products and recording data on forms, logs, time sheets, and other required documentation. Must complete work with accuracy and speed. Responsibilities Tune and test filters and electronic components using specification sheets, drawings, blueprints, network analyzers, and related software. Adhere to Manufacturing Operating Procedures (MOP) and Automated Testing Procedures (ATP). Perform quality assurance spot checks and tests to ensure product accuracy. Operate and reference equipment such as network analyzers, calipers, computers, testers, microscopes, soldering irons, plotters, calculators, wrenches, and tuning instruments. Clean finished products per established procedures and record job data on forms, logs, time sheets, and other documentation. Meet required tolerances and maintain documentation with accuracy and timeliness. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED plus related experience (e.g., television repair or electronics training). Previous soldering experience or skills preferred. Mathematical skills with ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages. Ability to read, interpret bar graphs, instructions, calibration data, drawings, blueprints, and schematics. Physical Demands Work is sedentary; typically the employee may sit to perform the work. Repetitive use of hands and fingers in the tuning process. May involve walking, standing, carrying light items (up to 10 lbs), and reaching. Job Details Location: Salisbury, MD, US, 21801 Work Arrangement: Onsite Pay Range: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour Bonus Eligible: This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in the applicable bonus plan.
