We value work-life balance.The Opportunities:We currently have two opportunities we are seeking to fill - a day shift Batching Operator and an afternoon shift Blending Operator.Day shift Batching Operator will be responsible for preparing food products for mixing and processing. Some key responsibilities include:Accurately weigh and measure ingredients according to batch specificationsOperate batching equipment and machinery safely and efficientlyUse an RF gun to scan, track, and verify raw materials and inventory movementsEnsure all raw materials are correctly labelled and storedMaintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in batching areasRecord batch data and report any discrepancies or issuesCollaborate with mixing and quality control teams to ensure product consistencyFollow all food safety, quality, and workplace safety protocolsWhat Were Looking For:Previous experience in food manufacturing or batching preferredStrong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructionsBasic math and measurement skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentPhysically fit and capable of lifting ingredients and operating machineryAfternoon Shift Blending Operator, is a hands-on role involving operating ribbon blenders to mix food ingredients to exact specifications, ensuring consistency in every batch. Key responsibilities include:Operate ribbon blender machinery to blend food products according to batch instructionsLoad and unload ingredients safely and efficientlyMonitor blending times, speeds, and temperatures to ensure optimal resultsConduct regular quality checks during and after blendingMaintain accurate records of batch data and production logsClean and sanitize equipment and work areas in compliance with hygiene standardsFollow all safety protocols, including PPE usage and safe lifting techniquesReport any equipment malfunctions or product inconsistencies promptlyWhat Were Looking For:Prior experience in food manufacturing or blending operations preferredFamiliarity with ribbon blender equipment is a strong advantagePhysically fit and capable of lifting heavy ingredients and standing for extended periodsExceptional attention to detail and commitment to qualityStrong understanding of food safety and workplace safety proceduresAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPlease note that these are casual positions to commence with, but carry long term full-time employment potential for the right candidates.With shifts available across day shift (7:00am to 3:00pm) and afternoon shift (3:00pm - 11:00pm), remuneration on offer will include appropriate shift allowances for the Foodservices industry and the successful applicant(s) must be available to work 38 hours per week plus overtime if required.As these roles are located in Maryborough (regional Victoria), applicants from within the area or region are highly encouraged to apply.
