We are seeking enthusiastic Child Care Assistants to join us on a casual basis to create positive experiences for the children in our care. This position is responsible for assisting qualified staff to provide an appropriate and stimulating program of care and education, and to ensure the safety and well-being of the children.Join us in creating a joyful and supportive environment for children''s growth and development.EssentialQualifications and experienceExperience in the Early Childhood fieldCertificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent as recognised by the Australian Childrens Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA)Completion of Child Protection Course - Identify and respond to children and young people at risk of harmCurrent certificate HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)Current certificate HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting or an Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Training certificate that meets the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Law 2010 and Education and Care Services National Regulation 2018Working with Children Check clearance valid for paid workDesirableCurrent class C drivers licenceKnowledge of applicable legislation/regulationsRemuneration And BenefitsThe salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Councils Enterprise Agreement.Entry level for this position starts at $31.5079 per hour plus 25% casual loadingEmployee benefits such as leave entitlements (where applicable), 12% employer contribution payable to your nominated superannuation fund, Fitness Passport, gym membership discounts, and social clubs.This position has been identified as child related work.
