OverviewTotal Tools is looking for a Full-Time Sales Representative to work between 2 locations of Shepparton and Echuca. Reporting to our Business Development Manager you will be tasked with being the face of the business, working among the trade customers to improve customer efficiency by selling them the correct tooling to get the job done in the best way possible. Selling all brands and adapting to customer needs while delivering profitable results for the business. Commercial and account growth will be your main goal, driving sales on the road and servicing new and existing customers. Dynamic Sales Role - Build & Grow Relationships & Drive Sales for your Store!ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service: Provide advice and information on products; handle customer and supplier queries in person and over the phone, and offer solutions; train store team members on customer service standards for account customers; resolve complaints or refer to Store Manager/Store Owner for resolution; organise the despatch of customer special orders and item delivery; build solid working relationships with key stakeholders and accounts; liaise with and find solutions for current and potential clients; develop and implement sales plans and initiatives; effectively manage your diverse customer base; analyse sales and customer data to identify new opportunities; attract new customers and grow existing business; achieve sales, margin, and product mix targets.Sales & Account Management: Actively seek to introduce the business to new customers weekly and promote business growth; prepare objectives with the Owner annually and review monthly; set appropriate business unit objectives and review monthly; monitor performance of sales for each account; ensure adherence to group guidelines, particularly in relation to customer service; maintain effective communication with the Store Owner/Franchisee; be aware of competitor activity and advise the Store Manager accordingly; arrange for regular visits to key account customers including creating and maintaining a call cycle; increase transaction values and margins through effective sales techniques and opportunities; monitor sales and margin figures with incremental targets.QualificationsPrevious retail and/or sales experienceProven ability to achieve and exceed targetsAble to develop and maintain B2B relationships and influence decision-makingStrong work ethic and a ''can do'' attitudeOrganised with excellent time management skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to work autonomously as well as in a teamStrong verbal and written communications skills with an eye for detailComfortable with technology; computer literacy is a must with a professional phone mannerUnderstanding of the trade and industrial sector is an advantageBenefitsCompetitive salary, laptop, and phone - all the tools to do your jobOngoing product training in market-leading brands like Bosch, Makita, Milwaukee, and moreCommitment to ongoing job security, development, and growthAll that is left to do is to apply to join the Total Tools team!Total Tools is a proud equal opportunity employer.
